Migrating from Circus Ponies Notebook - bring along your notes!
Circus Ponies NoteBook is the missing piece in your workflow, organizing all the notes, documents, and other important info you need to get things done. July 23, 2014 Circus Ponies NoteBook stores and organizes your notes and other information in electronic notebooks that look and work just like the paper ones you’ve used all your life. Circus Ponies Notebook 2.1 (Mac) Circus Ponies NoteBook is the revolutionary award-winning application that helps OS X users manage all those bits of information that lack a good home: web clippings notes even the e-mails diagrams and spreadsheet files of a project. The demise of Circus Ponies Notebook left many lawyers with a lot of information stuck in a soon-to-be obsolete app. However, the indie developer for an app called Outline has created a method for exporting and, then, importing your Circus Ponies Notebooks into Outline. Standing alone, Outline is a good alternative to Notebook, albeit missing.
Warning: This feature is retired and won’t be supported in the newest versions of Outline. You can still get your notes from Circus Ponies in the old versions of our app. Please check our guide on this issue here

Circus Ponies Notebook Replacement
To import your Circus Ponies notebooks use Outline's UI import window:
Circus Ponies Notebook Windows
1. Open your notebook in Circus Ponies app > File > Export as a Website > To Disk.

2. Don't forget to create a new folder for your files when exporting the notebook.

3. In Outline go to File > Import > 'Circus Ponies' Notebook.

4. Select your exported as a Website CP notebook in Import from.

5. In Import choose a local folder to store your notebook in Outline format.

6. Run the import.
Please note
Your imported notebook will appear in Outline with sections list collapsed.
