Iphoto 10.7 5

Recently I've formatted my Mac Book Pro and I backuped some archives and some Apps. After the formatting I was checking if everything was ok, then I remebered that I didn't checked the iPhoto Library that I've backuped. I tried to open but there wasn't no iPhoto installed, so I tried to download update of the iPhoto, but it asked to install the iPhoto before I can upgrade, then I tried to download iPhoto but it asks me to download the OS X 10.10 The Yosemite. I won't upgrade to Yosemite because it just makes the computer slower than it already is. I tried to find the iPhoto DMG 9.1 and the 9.2 but couldn't find ANYWHERE! So, what can I do to resolve this problem?

Thank you!

Oddly, as seen in the picture above, the system requirements listed for iPhoto for Mac includes the as-yet unreleased OS X 10.7.4. It could be a simple typo, or it could be a hint that a new. After updating to macOS Big Sur or macOS Catalina, Aperture and iPhoto no longer runs, and iTunes is replaced by Music, TV, and Podcasts. If you still need to run Aperture, iPhoto or iTunes on.

Upgraded a user from 10.7.5 to 10.11.5, lots of glitches (contacts, mail, etc), mostly resolved. Final one is an issue they're reporting with the 'Photos' app.

There are a number of albums, user reports they had made groupings based on year (2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, etc). A number of those are there, but we're missing 2008-2016 or something. It appears the photos themselves are there but the user would rather not regroup them (there are thousands).
I did make a time machine backup of 10.7.5 prior to the upgrade. Haven't plugged it in to the El Capitan install yet. Don't want to start overwriting the old data with the new. Don't do a lot of time machine restore and unsure of the best way to pull out the original iphoto library to attempt the import again. Any advice?
Any alternate solutions to get the album groupings back?
Ouch !

I always quite strongly recommend against any upgrade installs, Windows or Mac. You leave in place all kinds of cruft and no 'upgrade' can clean that up.

Iphoto 10.7 5 Review

Next thing, if anyone is still running 10.7 (shudder) then that's probable an OOLD spindle-based drive that must be replaced first. It's probably in poor shape by now, inevitably.

You also skipped several versions of iPhoto AND then converted to Photos. Import to iPhoto (fully updated) first and THEN to Photos. Try it and good luck ! I would never touch that unless & until the data was migrated to a new HD/SSD, first and foremost.
